Historic Venue
The Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa is a registered National Historic Site and has a dramatic cliffside setting on the Columbia River, in the beautiful Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area. This beautiful destination wedding location is surrounded by seven acres of magical grounds with manicured lawns, gardens, ponds and bridges, and a creek that runs through the property that ends in our dramatic, privately-owned, 208 foot Wah Gwin Gwin Falls!
Prime Location
Located just 45 minutes from the Portland International Airport, and within just 10 minutes from downtown Hood River and wine country, our 40 guest rooms, onsite restaurant Simon’s Cliff House, Valentino Bar, and Remedease Spa, allow for you and your guests to relax, dine, and enjoy all Hood River has to offer. With your wedding you have the option to reserve blocks of rooms for your guests at set prices, so everyone you love can plan to be here together.
Beautiful & Scenic Area
If you enjoy the outdoors then a Summer or Fall wedding in the Columbia River Gorge and Hood River area allows you and your guests opportunities to wind surf, mountain bike, white water raft, paddle board, kayak, fish, and hike in some of the world's most renowned locations! The Hood River Valley Fruit Loop is famous for its delicious seasonal fruits and u-pick. There are also many wineries, cideries, and breweries to enjoy and have a day wine tasting with your bridal party.
Nestled overlooking the magnificent Columbia River, our Point Lawn is perfect for the couple seeking a scenic Pacific Northwest experience. During April tulips surround this site and add a beautiful glow to the amphitheater, followed by the fantastic daffodils in May and the blooming of the Cherry Blossom during the Summer months! This space comfortably accommodates up to 200 guests.

Front Lawn
Is your guest list on the larger side? Phelps Creek flows right next to our Front Lawn into our Wah Gwin Gwin Waterfall! Dance the night away and enjoy just one piece of our expansive seven acres!

West Lawn

Outfitted with space and outlets for a dance floor and a DJ, a cozy location for a Satellite Bar and shaded by the surrounding Fir Trees overlooking the water over towards the Washington side of the Gorge, our West Lawn is ideal for the perfect Wedding Reception! The West Lawn can accommodate up to 175 guests, seated.

Benson Ballroom
Looking for a beautiful indoor reception location? Then the stunning Benson Ballroom is for you! Our ballroom can comfortably host up to 110 guests with stunning views of the Columbia River, and an ideal location right next to our 208 foot waterfall, the Benson Ballroom transforms your wedding day into a fairy tale setting.
