  • Line Cook

    POSITION DESCRIPTION

     

    Position Title:            Lead Cook                              Reports To:    Executive Chef/     Sous Chef                                        

    Department:              Kitchen                                   Date:               April 2019

     

     

    Position Summary:  

     Responsible for preparing and providing high quality food standards with consistency throughout.

     

    Supervision Received:

     Supervision is received from the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.

     

    Primary Function:  Create a memory

     Essential Functions:

     Responsible for freshness and quality of all items needed within assigned station.

    • Maintains good service times.
    • Responsible for product rotation and maintains freshness of product on station.
    • Monitor the quality and consistency of all food served from the lines.
    • Responsible for keeping reach-in and walk-in coolers clean and neat at all times
    • Prepare food in accordance with working menus, recipe cards and photos.
    • Complete all proper paperwork accurately and timely.
    • Responsible for having station set up in an orderly and timely fashion.
    • Assist in directing and correcting the presentation and portioning of food.
    • Coordinate all food orders between stations and food servers.
    • Assists with preparation of employee meals.
    • Communicate with Executive Chef or Sous Chef regarding problems, special needs, or any feedback concerning food service or employee performance.
    • Maintains a clean and safe work area.
    • Attend all mandatory meetings.
    • Complies with all policies and procedures set forth by the North Pacific Management Employee Handbook.

     

    Secondary Functions:

     Performs all other duties as assigned.

     Qualifications:

     Must have two years previous culinary experience.

    • Possession of or ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Card.
    • Ability to stand and walk entire shift.
    • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
    • Ability to be a self starter.
    • Professional appearance.
    • Ability to work as a team member.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Ability to read and follow both verbal and written instructions.
    • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

     Working Conditions:

     This position requires the ability to perform those activities necessary to complete the essential functions of the job, either with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Accommodating Bellperson

    Our Bellperson is the first face to welcome the guests into the hotel and assist with the carriage of luggage to and from their guestroom. He/she is the hotel’s encyclopedia and provides inside information about the property, its history, its facilities, the guestrooms and the area’s sights and interesting nooks to visit and enjoy.

    He/she is expected to keep his/her area of responsibility and equipment clean.

  • Energetic Dishwashers

    Our dishwashers keep the F&B materials and kitchen areas in sparkling shape, clean and sanitized creating thus a hygienic and safe working environment.

    They take care of the dishes and ensure they are clean for the next customer to use.

    Out team sometimes helps in the kitchen assisting the chefs in preparing food and dishing out banquets. They are a proud part of our culinary support team, well respected and appreciated.
